Cloudy Visions
“I don’t think about art when I’m working, I try to think about life” after hearing this quote from Jean Michel Basquait and watching “Radiant Child” a few hundred times it helped me change my entire creative process. I went from only painting things because they were popular to really digging deep into my own mind and pushing my artistic envelope. Now art work is loud. Deeply rooted in concepts that can spawn from thoughts, conversations to music. I really like to use colors that will attract you from the other side of a room to come up to my paintings and become intrigued. I believe that art should have a story, it should spark conversation. Every paint brush stroke I make on a canvas I think about that, “How can I make this painting tell my story?”. I have fallen in love with the process, from days staying up till 2am, going to work and rushing back home to paint more. To showing my art to people and getting various responses. Because of this I want to show my art work to the world, to people from all walks of life. I want to hear different opinions and views. I know this is what I am here for. It’s more than a hobby or passion it’s my lifestyle and as long as I am physically able I want to do this for the rest of my life.
